Clear Choice Credit is a credit reporting services company located in San Francisco, California. It specifically deals with and caters to the mortgage industry, loans, tenant screening, collections, and employment screening. They want people to see their company functioning professionally and being up-to-date with the latest online technology and credit pulling system.

Website :http://clearchoicecredit.com/

The company logo’s appearance must convey these characteristics. Basically, the nature of the business is client-servicing. They make use of their web site to welcome clients’ needs and placements of order of credit reports and other products.

In their request, they want red and blue for their logo. But there was a slight problem between the combination of red and blue. The combination of these colors does not make-up the characteristic of being neither professional nor techie, so modifications on the preferred color combinations were made.In the logo drafts, blue and red, when combined, do not look professional. The trick here focuses on how to make the colors communicate an image of being techie.

In the logo drafts, blue and red, when combined, do not look professional. The trick here focuses on how to make the colors communicate an image of being techie.

The client liked the first one on the top. They requested for revision, mainly on the color combination, but the layout itself is good. Further on, the client trusted SleekLogos’ expertise in achieving the concept they wanted for a company logo. Neon green and navy blue were then experimented on for a different sort of color combination. The colors well complement each other and the colors convey a characteristic of being techie and professional.

In developing the concept of the company logo, the initials of the company name, which is CCC, was enclosed in a techie-looking sphere. The full name of the company is placed beside the icon.

The logo appears fantastic when viewed on their web site. The color combination and the form of the image gave a feel of a work professionally done.

Company Name

Vectrona, LLC

Company Background

Vectrona provides systems analysis and engineering consulting services that implement innovative solutions and technology applications to produce high performing organizations. The company provides services for both government and private sector organizations to improve organizational performance, training program effectiveness, and enhance safety. It is a small business owned and founded by a disabled veteran who was a former US Navy combat strike-fighter pilot and is also an Aerospace and Systems Engineer.

Product / Service Name and Background

In the government sector, Vectrona focuses on services for the Departments of Defense (DoD), Homeland Security (DHS), and State, as well as their state and local government counterparts. Private sector customers, on the other hand, include dynamic, complex organizations or high-risk manufacturing processes.

Introduction

Vectrona’s goal is to become a globally recognized company that produces high performing organizations to enable robust growing economies and a more secure world. Its name is a combination of the English word “vector,” which is defined as a quantity possessing both a direction, and a magnitude or velocity; and the Spanish and Italian suffix “ona,” which means big, large, or grand in English.

The word vector signifies the organization’s goal to become a high performing company that aims to make an impact in the right direction. It is also intended to provide a linkage to the company’s roots in naval aviation. The use of “ona,” meanwhile, is intended to invoke the sense that the company will produce a large and meaningful impact and a grand result. It was also selected to honor the founder’s family heritage, whose grandfather immigrated from Italy and grandmother from Spain.

Client Specifications

The client initially mentioned that they were open for ideas and recommendations. However, they specified a few factors. The client specified the colors black, blue, red, and white. They also wanted their web site to invoke strength and security, and should not incorporate pastel colors. They want their logo to symbolize strength, integrity, innovation, agility, professionalism, and eminence. They also wanted the logo to be a combination of typographic and iconic characteristics with fewer details.

Logo Conceptualization and Revisions

In compliance with the specifications submitted by the client, SleekLogos came up with this first batch of logo samples:

The client liked the logos, but wanted a bolder, yet understated design. The client especially liked the vector/arrow within the red V preceding the company’s name. As a result, the next batch of logos was sent:

Final Design

Finally, the client chose this logo as a symbol of simplicity, but invokes strength and security:

Company Profile

Noble jobs need appreciation, not only by means of awards or certificates, but in other forms as well. WorshipOne Insurance Services is grateful to individuals who dedicate themselves in sharing the word of God. To express their gratitude, they designed insurance policies that are exclusively for churches and church members. The insurance will cover church building, vehicle, life, and health.

Specifications

The client wanted a simple, iconic logo using the colors blue and green.

Concept Materialization

Upon learning the client’s instructions, the team began brainstorming. After the process of conceptualization and researching, the logo design company did not waste time and proceeded in creating the logo. Considering that the logo is for an insurance company that deals with church, it is important to cautiously choose logo elements that will not offend any religious sect or organization.

Typeface

The aim is to produce a catchy yet simple design. We advised the client that they should stick to a font style that looks formal and neat since WorshipOne is an insurance company for churches and their members.

Color Scheme

The client specified two colors that it wants to see in the logo: green and blue. The color green represents growth, peace, and nature. Blue, on the other hand, symbolizes peace and harmony. And with the addition of color white that stands for purity, these colors, if combined altogether, give a more defined meaning to the logo.

Typography and Icons
The logo design company used sun rays that serve as the “light” that will lead you to the path going to the one that you worship.

The colors used were subtle to create a calming mood for the people who will view it. In order to avoid confusion, the logo design company made sure that the logo does not look complicated. The message is straight to the point and clear.

With the text, color and design set, the logo gives justice to the goal of the company.

Logo Approval

The overall feedback of the client was positive. From the five samples that were given, they instantly chose two and finally decided for one sample that suits their company best. There were just minor modifications. The logo undoubtedly demonstrates the image that WorshipOne wants to project. With this, it is expected that the logo will effectively represent the company.

Company Background

Starbucks began its business in 1971. The coffee shop was originally located in Seattle’s Pike Market Place where it used to be a retailer of coffee bean (whole and ground), tea, and spices. It started to sell coffee to fine restaurants and espresso bars in 1982 after Howard Schultz became itsdirector.

The young Howard went to Milan where he fell in love with espresso. He came up with theidea ofbringing the same coffee shop culture in Seattle. Inspired with what he saw in there, where friends, lovers, and families meet to have a quality time in coffee shops, Howard then beganpersuading Italian business partners to join him in his mission. After he came back to Seattle to tell the good news to Starbucks’ owners, they didn’t seem to be happy with it so they declined his offer.

Ironically In 1985, Howard officially bought Starbucks. They have decided to focus on coffee retailing.

Everything finally paid off when hefound individuals who agreedto collaboratewith him for Starbucks. Since then, the coffee shop that used to sell coffee, tea, and spices began to sell espresso where it became successful until today.

The Logo

Starbucks’ main element in its logo is the “two-tail mermaid”. In Greek mythology, mermaid sirens are known as the inhabitants of the sea thatlure sailors through their voice, bringing unfortunate demise to them. This represents Starbucks’ irresistible coffee experience to its consumers. It’s like when you start to smell the aroma of Arabica, you got to have one for yourself.

The original brown color of the logo was based after the color of coffee bean, while the name Starbucks was derived from Herman Melville’s novel Moby Dick. The overall concept of the logo is to show sea-related elements for the reason that coffee trading originally took placein the sea where the merchants meet and exchange goods.Howard Schultz changed the logo. He however, retained its main element, the two-tailed mermaid.

The logo underwent several changes from 1971-2011:

The Typeface

1897-The text became more readable as it turned to be thicker and bigger. Some words were also removed, from “Starbucks Coffee, Tea, Spices” it simply became “Starbucks Coffee.”

1992-The bold, white text was retained.

Present (2011)- All texts were removed.

The Color Scheme

1987-The color scheme changed from brown to green, but the color of the text and the borders remained the same, which is white. The background of the circular band became black.

1992- The color stayed the same.

Present (2011)- The colors were reduced andonly green and white are used.

The Typographic and Icons

1987-The controversial bare breasts were covered with the mermaid’s hair. However, the whole body and the navel of the mermaid were still shown. The scales of the mermaid’s tails were changed into awavy pattern. The dots at the sides were transformed into stars.

1992- The logo almost looked the same.Only that the mermaid appeared bigger and the navel was not visible anymore.

Present (2011)- Only the mermaid in the circular band is left. There are no more borders, texts, and other colors. Everything else was cropped.

Generally, the logo became simpler and neater. The changes that happened made it appear more corporate. Starbucks’ identity is already instilled on people’s mind so there is no need for an extravagantdesign. Seeing the mermaid is enough to convince them to stay for a while and have a sip of some nice espresso.

As social beings, humans should interact with one another. That is why Friday nights should never be taken for granted. After a week of hard work, you need to give yourself time to relax, meet friends, or basically just dine out to relieve the stress that you got for the whole week. What could be nicer than chilling out with your friends in a cozy restaurant?

Such business feel is what our client wants to achieve for his bar and dining logo design.

Client Specifications

The client wants a logo that will stand out among the other establishments with the same business.

Concept Materialization

The possible designs for the business were carefully analyzed to meet the client’s needs. There were four designs that were passed to the client and two were instantly chosen. After reviewing the drafts, the client decided for a final logo.

Typeface

Sleek, rounded fontstyle was used for the text. Since the logo is for a bar-dining place, it should look elegant and soothing to portray an image of a place where you can convenientlyhave a dinner andfun at the same time.

Color Scheme

A black background color was chosen to complement the white text and to give more emphasis that it is a place for a night-out. The red color in the logo shows the content of the crystal glass, which is wine.

Typographic and Icons

The elements of the logo will set the mood of the diners. The client wants to demonstratethat SoBars and Dining is a decent place that everyone can enjoy.Other barsuse flashy logos to gain attention, but this is not what the client has in mind. Strong colors were not used because this will only distract the main goal of the business, which is to offera cozy place where diners can unwind.

The overall elements of the logo showsophistication thatgives a positive image to the establishment.

Logo Approval

The sample made got the attention of the client because of its unique, classy design. Less is more, and keeping the design simple is what separates it from the other usual bar logo designs.

On The Right Track

Company Background

Starting a new organization is no easy task. There are a lot of factors to consider: the organization’s purpose, goals, visions, missions, and all the other pre-requisites. Establishing the identity of an organization is just as important as the ones mentioned. To establish an identity, it is imperative to develop and create an organizational logo design that will best stand out and fully symbolize the organization’s ideals in its simplest form. Its design is crucial in effectively forming an organization that it must be concise, eye catching, and easy to comprehend.

For this project, the client’s target population for the organization is young adults ages 13 to 26. The organization will focus on teaching young adults parenting skills to help them realize the importance of good parenting and how important it is to set a good example for their children and the children they may have later in life.
Company Background

The New Life Assembly (NLA) is a church in Griswold, Connecticut that functions under the Assemblies of God USA and Assemblies of God organizations around the world. As part of the Assemblies of God, the NLA adheres to nonnegotiable tenets of faith according to the 16 Fundamental Truths of the Assemblies of God. Today, it is headed by Pastor Robert Keator with the NLA Eldership. Its members are called Partners.

To distinguish themselves from other Assemblies of God churches, the NLA proudly states that unlike other churches, their Partners, aside from being expected to serve Christ through the church’s mission and vision, get to share their opinions and decision, related to church matters, with the church leaders.

The NLA also has ministries as a medium in helping the community. They have a Children’s Ministry, Youth Group, Man Up, Just for Women, Evangelism Ministry, Church Beautification, Ushering and Hospitality Ministry, Worship Ministry, Intercessory Prayer, and Leadership Training.

The church slogan is: Committed to Christ, Community and YOU!

Product / Service Name and Background

The client hiredthe service of SleekLogos to create a church logo design or signage that will be used in front of their building.

Client Specifications

Upon reviewing the existing portfolio logos on the SleekLogos webpage, the client was interested in acquiring the same feel and simplicity of the “New Life Church” logo as shown below:

However, the client preferred to have a cross, or any other symbols associated with churches and worship, in replacement of the bird as the focal point of the church logo design.

Considering the church building color, which is gray-white, the client also wanted the logo to be in colors red, black, gray, and blue.

Logo Conceptualization

SleekLogos came up with the following concepts based on client specifications:

Final Design

The client did not ask for revisions or additional design output, but instead decided on the second church logo design as shown below:

www.mavemediallc.com

Company Background

Mave Media LLC is a premier IPTV Development Company. As experts in custom Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) and Application Development implementation, they take pride in their services that have the potential to bring vital growth to organizations across a wide variety of sectors.

Mave Media is also a High Application Service Provider (ASP) that strives to meet clients’ expanded expectations by emphasizing customer satisfaction and retention.

Client Specifications

Mave Media wanted to reflect the individual personalities of its key personnel. As a result, they want their company logo design to reflect that attitude and at the same time, possess a positive impression of the company. They also wanted it to be simple, straightforward, and uncluttered, yet displaying a young, approachable, and energetic vibe. It should also be typographic, though they are open to icon style options.

For the typeface, the client wanted a logo that gives emphasis on the word Mave. They did not want an artistic font, but preferred a simple one.

For colors, the client wanted the color lime green and other bright and cheery colors. They also specified that absolutely no mauve or reddish brown colors should be used. No dark colors were to be used, except for black. It should also be easily inverted for black/white schemes and clearly legible.

Logo Conceptualization

SleekLogos created the following logos in which the client can choose from:

Revisions

The client initially picked design number 3. However, further instructions were given for changes. They wanted a new company logo design, but with the same shape, in replacement of the current design and that it should have a TV element on it. They also preferred more colors.

Final Design

Following the client’s preferences, SleekLogos finalized the logo (and later approved as the new company logo) as shown below:

Company Name

Clarity Queen

Website

www.clarityqueen.com

Company Background

Clarity Queen is a service-based business aimed to providecoaching servicesto women in the business and marketing world. Coaching services are focused on empowerment and elimination of hindrances that may stop a woman from achieving success.

As a coaching service, Clarity Queen represents the royal nature of women. The organization believes that women can be who they want to be. They have all the mental and physical power they will ever need. Something or someone just needs to encourage them and let out their courageous spirits. The organization will also teach women how to express themselves and grow in their business without causing pain to other people.

Client Specifications

For the logo concept, the client wantedacrown for the queen aspect, and beams of light for the “clarity” words, but they are still open for other ideas. They also want the colors purple, fuchsia, and pink.Colors black, browns, gray, and green should be avoided. They also wanted an icon style logo.

Logo Conceptualization

With all these specific instructions, SleekLogos have come up with a powerful batch of logo designs in which, power of women is depicted on the designs. These were the first batch of logo samples that were sent to the client:

Final Design

The client was very satisfied and decided to choose the last logo sample without any revisions.

The finalized logo sample was very simple. SleekLogos artists decided to put a crown on the word “Queen,” whilegiving emphasisto the letter Q. This design element enabled the “crown” to be more noticeable compared with the other elements of the logo. At the top on the other hand, the words Clarity were placed in an oval shaped graphic for a more iconic look. The design and swirls beneath the encircled logo, meanwhile, gave it a more feminine look.
